Jabee, Emmy Winning Hip-hop Artist to Headline the 2016 Plaza District Festival

The 18th annual Plaza District Festival returns Saturday, September 24, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and welcomes Jabee, a native of Northeast Oklahoma City and hip-hop poet, as this year’s Festival headliner. Jabee, who just released his third full-length album, Black Future, and was recently described as OKC’s modern day Woodie Guthrie, will take the Festival’s Main stage at 9pm with special guest, LTZ.
The Festival’s Main stage opens at 12 p.m. with Lincka, and closes with Jabee & LTZ at 9 p.m. The Blackwelder Stage also begins at 12 p.m. with Ali Harter, a celebrated local singer/songwriter, and closes with Wildings at 4:15 p.m. The Blackwelder Stage is a new location for the annual festival and now resides close to the dedicated Children’s area, nestled between The Barn and The Society on Blackwelder Avenue, just south of 16th Street.
