Plaza District Festival, Plaza Walls Mural Expo and Oklahoma City Improv Festival make fall festive in OKC's Plaza District
"It has grown a lot, just like the district," Skorman said. "It's a celebration of the revitalization of the district, but it's also just a way to keep us top of mind with people that may not live in the urban core. it is a huge event, and with so much going on - not just music, but visual art and children's activities - that means people from Norman and Edmond and Yukon might come in and see what we're all about."
The visual art will span all media, the culinary offerings will cover all tastes, and the children's area will offer new activities every hour, she said. The three stages will showcase an array of Oklahoma musicians and entertainers, from the fleet-footed students from the Plaza's own Everything Goes Dance Studio and the drag show The GIG Hosted by Topatío to singer-songwriter Dylan Stewart and Latina pop songstress Lincka.
