Plaza District Association Announces Date for 20th Annual Plaza District Festival
The annual Plaza District Festival returns for its 20th year on Saturday, September 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Festival, held on the 1700 block of 16th St., is a celebration of all things local. The one-day event incorporates live music, local artists, food trucks, and more.
Applications are now open for this year’s food trucks, artist vendors and festival performers. Artist and performer applications are due April 25, and food truck vendor applications are due July 1. More information and the applications can be found here.
This year’s festival will be co-chaired by long-time Plaza District volunteers, Kristen Torkelson and Leah Roper.
“We are honored and excited to be chairing Festival during its 20th anniversary,” Roper said. “We have both been attending Festival for years and have a lot of ideas to incorporate more of our Plaza businesses and talents.”
The annual Plaza District Festival is the Plaza District Association’s largest fundraiser and invites Oklahoma to experience local together by providing the creative space to showcase Oklahoma’s visual artists, musicians and local food trucks. This unique, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
