Painting for a Purpose

KFOR Meteorologist Emily Sutton is getting ready for her third annual “Painting for a Purpose.”

Two years ago, Emily partnered with “Paint N Cheers” in the Plaza District to make a fundraiser for tornado victims.  Last year, we had the profits go to The Go Mitch Go Foundation, a local non-profit for leukemia and lymphoma research. This year, our profits will go the OK Humane Society!

Each year Emily and “Paint N Cheers” have a night where people can paint, eat and drink as well as do a silent auction. This year they are doing the same PLUS “Pups on the Plaza” where people can bring their dogs and make a paint paw print on a canvas.

When:

  • Friday, August 7 & Saturday, August 8 at 7PM for social painting.
  • “Pups on the Plaza” from 2-5pm on Saturday, August 8. This is a family friendly event where you can paint with your pet!
