New Works by Jami Tobey, Theresa Paden & Bonnie Teitelbaum

Opening Reception: Friday, May 8th from 7:00-10:00 PM
Exhibiting: May 6th through June 6th

The exhibit, Expressions of Spring, brings together three colorful expressionists; Jami Tobey, Theresa Paden & Bonnie Teitelbaum. Theresa Paden is known for unique paintings that feature vivid colors and expressive brush work. She is an animal lover and avid horse woman who has a passion for painting horses, longhorns, wildlife, and people of the West. Jami Tobey's work reveals a fascination with the natural world where sweeping brush strokes and bold swaths of color create tension, expectation and emotions that quicken the heart. From bewitching trees to swirling clouds to mystical landscapes, the subjects of Jami's paintings reflect a world that can be achingly beautiful, inspiring, contemplative, sometimes frightening, but always alive and breathing. Bonnie Teitelbaum creates her abstract expressions with a sublime, sensual beauty, using strong colors in a delicate manner to lure you into her zen world of internal conversation. The artists are heartily repre sented at over 15 galleries across the United States. This exhibit will mark the Oklahoma debut of works by both Paden and Tobey.
