Join us on April 9th from 6-8pm at The Society for the launch of How I See OKC, an exhibit of photography showcasing what our city looks like through the eyes of the individuals experiencing homelessness.
This exhibit is a collaboration between The Curbside Chronicle and Upward Transitions that pairs local professional photographers with Curbside vendors and friends who are experiencing homelessness. The pictures seek to open people's eyes to what the homeless see on a daily basis, as well as share parts of their stories. The photos will also be for sale, with the money going back to the vendor who photographed or inspired the image.
The gallery will be open on Thursday, April 9th from 6-8pm as well as during Live on the Plaza on Friday, April 10th.
Come join us for refreshments, art, and conversation! We hope to see you there!
