Oak & Ore - Fried Chicken Tuesday

#FriedChickenTuesday is a great way to greet the new year! This month's $4 beer special is Stonecloud Brewing Company's Neon Sunshine Belgian Wit - brewed with coriander and orange peel, then dry-hopped with a bunch of freshly zested tangerine peel to add a bright and fresh quality to this traditional brew.

Oak & Ore's fried chicken special for the month is Chicken Katsu - a Japanese-style panko crusted fried chicken breast, featuring a different sauce each week, beginning with a spicy Japanese mayo sauce.

As always, the tables will be set up for family fun, covered with brown butcher paper for drawing, and a variety of board games, dominoes, and cards!

Oak and Ore - Wildin' Out with Crooked Stave!

Wild ales? Sours? Hops? Barrel-aged stuff? Yeah, Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project out of Denver, CO. does all that and more. Since 2010, they've been steadily making a name for themselves with fantastic sours - carefully concentrating on wild fermentation with a sharp eye on the science and fine details of brewing, to produce incredibly clean, flavor-focused beers. We're glad to see them distributing in Oklahoma, and we'll feature EIGHT of their brews at this tap takeover!

Lyric Theatre - Fun Home

A true story that became the Tony Award-Winning musical! Every once in a while, a Broadway musical comes along that surprises, moves and excites audiences in ways only a truly landmark musical can. The “groundbreaking,” “exquisite” and “unforgettable” new musical Fun Home was the event of the Broadway season, receiving raves from critics and audiences alike, winning five 2015 Tony Awards® and making history along the way. Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home introduces us to Alison at three different ages as she explores and unravels the many mysteries of her childhood. A refreshingly honest musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes. This musical contains adult content. Lyric Theatre - When We're Gone: World Premiere Musical

In the spirit of Lyric’s hit production, The Who’s Tommy, When We’re Gone is a rock musical that follows Todd, an angst-ridden teen, in plague-ridden, 14th-century London and his desire to make great art in a time of great need. This wildly creative new musical strikes a brilliant balance of modern day characters, a pop-punk score and the life-changing events of 1349. Anyone who has ever wondered what life is all about will be enlightened, entertained and amazed. This musical contains adult language and adolescent themes.
